Code with Claude was Anthropic's flagship developer conference in 2025 — a two-day event in San Francisco focused on Claude Code, Computer Use, and the Claude SDK. Sold out at over 1,500 attendees. Established Anthropic's annual developer-conference cadence.
What it was
Code with Claude was Anthropic's first major standalone developer
conference, held over two days at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The
event brought together Claude Code users, SDK builders, and the broader
Anthropic developer community for a mix of keynotes, hands-on workshops,
and product announcements.
Attendance was over 1,500. The conference established what's now an annual
cadence — Anthropic followed Code with Claude with regional Builder
Summits later in the year (Paris, Seoul) and the Builder Club university
program.
Why it mattered
Three things came out of the event:
- Claude Code formalized as a product line. Pre-event, Claude Code
- Computer Use enters mainstream developer conversation. Demos of

Why it's worth remembering
Code with Claude set the format other AI coding companies have since
copied — single-vendor conference, focused on developers, with hands-on
workshops alongside keynotes. Cursor's later events and Lovable's
At Scale series both echo the format Anthropic established here.
